01 / THE ROLE
In this lab.
The personal portfolio uses Astro with Cloudflare Pages, and this dedicated homelab site follows the same static-output approach. The lab also has a public wiki. This V0.1 homelab edition is now published through Cloudflare alongside the existing public websites.
02 / THE CONNECTIONS
Follow the flow.
- STEP 01Reviewed content
- STEP 02Astro build
- STEP 03Static output
- STEP 04Cloudflare hosting
03 / How it works
How it works.
The website is built into HTML, CSS and client-side assets. It has no runtime connection to the infrastructure inventory, private dashboards or Notion. Content is selected and written for the public audience before it reaches the build, rather than hiding fields in a live operational export.
04 / Persistent data & recovery
Persistent data & recovery.
The source repository and any reviewed image originals are the main recoverable assets. Publishing configuration and domain configuration are separate from the generated files. The final domain for this dedicated site is not assumed in the source.
05 / How to check it
How to check it.
Build the site, check internal links, review generated output for confidential data and test navigation at different screen sizes. Real screenshots require a separate image review; text-pattern scanning cannot prove that an image is safe.
06 / Decisions & limits
Decisions & limits.
Publishing from a Git-connected project can happen automatically after a push. Source review and deployment approval therefore belong before the push that triggers publication, not after.
