01 / THE ROLE

In this lab.

The documented Vaultwarden deployment uses MySQL and NAS-backed application storage. It is included here to explain the application’s data dependencies. No vault contents, accounts, access addresses, recovery keys or administrative settings are published.

02 / THE CONNECTIONS

Follow the flow.

03 / How it works

How it works.

The application coordinates client access to vault data. The service configuration, persistent state and client-side recovery considerations are related but different layers. A reachable web interface does not prove that a client can unlock, synchronise or recover its required data.

04 / Persistent data & recovery

Persistent data & recovery.

Recovery must account for the configured database, application files and the secure material required by the actual deployment. Backups of sensitive applications remain sensitive. Recovery instructions and secrets belong in the private operational procedure, not this website.

05 / How to check it

How to check it.

Validate availability and, within an authorised private test, the intended client operations. Do not use real vault screenshots as public demonstrations. A generic application example can explain the dependency model without exposing sensitive content.

06 / Decisions & limits

Decisions & limits.

Self-hosting a sensitive service increases the importance of recovery, updates and clear access boundaries. The public guide deliberately stops at responsibilities and dependencies rather than becoming an access map.
